Advanced Improv Workshop

Take what you’ve learned from your past improv theater* experiences and continue to flex those creative muscles! Tap into your unique strengths to support yourself and others on stage.

In this small one-time workshop you will:

  • Focus on scene work

  • Explore relationships and characters

  • Recognize your default habits and try new approaches

Some prior improv experience required such as one workshop or class.

Limited to 12 participants.

Age 18+ to participate

What to Expect:

You’ll engage in whole group activities, pair work, and will take turns being player and audience member. Much of this workshop is standing with physical movement. If you have any limitations please let us know.

Who is this for? Adults who have taken at least one improv workshop or class.

Hive Mind Improv Jam

Beahive Beacon & The Duke Comedy Theatre Present: The Hive Mind Improv Jam! This comedy jam is open to anyone who always wanted to try improv, get more reps, or watch a live comedy show happen on the spot. Sign-up alone or with your indie team! Only $5 per person at the door . We have beer and wine available, laughs are free!
