What People Are Saying
It was my first time doing something formal and purposeful like that. I have always been encouraged to do some sort of comedy and I have always chickened out. That night I got to cross off that painful “always”.
I wanted to let you know how important it was for me to face my fear and feel really comfortable and successful doing that.
There is more of a back story to all of this, which includes being “discovered” by a San Francisco comedian, his convincing me to move out to San Fran and break into show business, long story short, I was given an incredible opportunity when I was in my early 20’s and I blew it off. Worst part of it, I brought my buddy(funniest guy I know) with me out to Cally at the time and he was relying on me to make the move for both of us.
So, the welcoming, encouraging, supportive and easy going atmosphere you have created there made it so easy to push past my nerves. Everyone there was so supportive and easy to be around.
I cannot impress enough how healing this was for me.
— Chris D.“Down-to-earth coach TJ Del Reno goes out of his way to make sure everyone in his groups feels safe, comfortable, included, and most of all that we are having fun.”
— Kris L.
“TJ Del Reno has coached our nine-member improv comedy team for over a year, and in a short amount of time, he has transformed us all into well-rounded, skilled performers. TJ quickly determines what each performer needs to improve on, and provides valuable and supportive feedback that pushes us to be better. I highly recommend TJ whether you want to take classes, a workshop, or to coach your team. TJ has created an Improv community in Beacon to be funny, laugh, take risks, and collaborate with others”
